About Us
History
Chris and Luca always dreamed of owning their own business. While attending the University of Virginia as undergraduates, Chris decided it was time to sell his beloved childhood science fiction and fantasy book collection of over 100 books. He enlisted Luca’s help and this short-term project became the catalyst for the beginning of Zeds books in 2002. After selling Chris’ own books, the two sought out rare and hard to find books from Estate Sales, Yard Sales, Book Sales and the occasional bookstore.
Over the years, Zeds Books has expanded – we sell First Editions, Signed books, Limited Editions, and other rare books. Zeds Books has been in business for over 20 years and is still going strong.
Goals & Policies
Our Goals are to see out rare and hard-to-find books and offer them to our customers. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction on all of our transactions. If you are not completely satisfied with an item, please feel free to return it for a full refund. No questions asked.
We will gladly consider any reasonable offer for any of our books. We take great care in carefully packaging each item and using sturdy boxes. We can combine shipping for multiple items purchased and every book is shipping with tracking. In the last 10+ years, we have not had a single item go missing or arrive damaged.
